Gangs to protest Wanganui patch ban bylaw
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

"a triumph of democracy"

is Laws on the moon or in Whanganui?

you would think the major centers (exception Dunedin) have had enough mickey mouse mayoralty to discourage the rural folk...but no we have Laws to expand the legacy of cheap shots, tom foolery, racism both overt and covert, and the braying of inane slogans.

will they all march together to protest or will each gang protest on a different day,

living in wanganui you hardly see patch members in the city anyhow there is no more of a gang problem here than any other city in nz.

Are the police really happy about this? Won't it make more work for them, and make troublemakers hard to spot?

the police in the media are saying they are happy with it.

it is more drunk idiots causing fights in town than the gangs.there only seems to be a gang flare up every now and again, where as fights and things between members of the public are every weekend.

and yes it will make the gang members harder to spot but my guess is the gangs will just buy clothes in the colour of there gang

While they are all rounded up like that, a chance for the locals to tell the gangs what they think.

I wonder if it kicked off would the last man standing be shot??

I wonder if this will apply to us? After last weekends team performance, some might liken it to criminal activity.

I swear he is actually more intelligent than the shameless jingoism he descends too.
Bad news really when to ensure election you behave like a clown.
