Well we'd be kicked out of CER for a start.

The unit of currency would be a drink *when next in town) and instead of tax people would accumulate kudos credits/debits.

Of course by the time Oz became Dingo's Son-land we'd be the Republic of News (people paid in ploughman's lunches and cider).
