Yes, you are partly right. These two are nearly on a par. Although, after the experience i went through watching Goal III last night I find it hard to say a positive. Santi Munez is hardly the main character in this movie..

i was dissapointed they never finished the story of munez, they played it up in goal 2. once you saw the vampires (?) at the start you're like what the. poor. and i didnt watch to the end

Yep, the movie that guys in is pretty screwed.. Not really encouraging for young kids when out of the 3 main characters, the main one gets injured in a car crash when there all drunk and gets ruled out of WC, another one dies due to concussion from car crash and elbow in WC game, the other one knocks England outta the WC... Dissapointing to say the least.
