No religious significance for me, just another holiday. Quite happy to work Fri & Mon, & be paid for it, but legally (Holidays Act) the company has to give those days to us as stat hols. Eggs & bunnies aren't related to the Christian festival called Easter, they're related to a pagan festival celebrating the beginning of spring in the northern hemisphere so I'm told.

we need other pagan holidays frm work too... like
christmas - germanic pagan winter solstice holiday yule
new years - Among the 7th century pagans of Flanders and the Netherlands, it was the custom to exchange gifts at the New Year. This was a pagan custom deplored by Saint Eligius (died 659 or 660), who warned the Flemings and Dutchmen, "(Do not) make vetulas, [little figures of the Old Woman], little deer or iotticos or set tables [for the house-elf, compare Puck] at night or exchange New Year gifts or supply superfluous drinks
valentines - centuries before Christ, the pagan Romans celebrated February 15 and the evening of February 14 as an idolatrous and sensuous festival in honor of Lupercus, the "hunter of wolves"

And we wonder why christianity is declining.

do you eat the ears first or what? That is the question.

Animal cruelty!
You need to stun it first (blow to the head on the forehead just between the ears). Then cut it's throat and led the chocolate bleed out.
Make sure it isn't diseased with RCV before skinning (the tin foil) and eating.

Always work from the ears down with bunnys, eggs you have to smash them open on your forehead and pick the shards out for devouring.

No no no. Rego you got it all wrong mate.
Bunnys yes I agree but with eggs you BITE into it after you have softened it in the microwave. Not so it is melted but just soft enough.
THIS is how you eat an easter egg my friend.

Completely wrong Janelle, by fridgeing/freezing the satisfaction of the shatter as it collides with your head is heightened, and biting into whole eggs is awkward.
