No, I do believe this thread is even more pointless than the very pointless sport that is horse racing
What isn't pointless, is spending a day at Trentham/Ellerslie/Doomben/Eagle Farm watching young kids get all tarted up then proceed to completely and utterly wreck themselves, and whatever they're wearing... it could be a spectator sport in itself.
Got home about three on arvo last year (I lived a block from Eagle Farm) and found a young "lady" passed out in the gutter next to my front porch. It was 2pm, 35 degrees, and she'd apparently lost her shoes and hat. Much respect (and thankfully, no vomit). Coppers were less impressed though... the first of many for them!
