Sell about 100 (give or take) singles (yes - 45's) from tha 60s & 70's? Have tried the record shops but they only wanna cherry pick, and I want the lot gone (well, the old man does). Any ideas?

Maybe an SB mystery TM auction - or ten? lol

Get a valuation done for Insurance to get an actual document with their (slightly increased) value on it then sell them on TradeMe.

Alternatively, they make great frisbees!

I've been through the pain of selling records - it's gut wrenching.

The records shops either want to cherry-pick your best stuff or they'll make you an offer on the lot that barely makes it worth selling.

The sad fact is that these days they are up against the wall and your records probably aren't worth what you think (or hope) they are. They only exception is if they are genuinely collectable ie. rare and in mint condition.

TradeMe is a good option although still a bit hit and miss. Individual auctions takes too much time and a single bulk auction is likely to only appeal to dealers looking for a bargain. I had some success packaging records or CDs into groups of ten similar ones and selling them like that.

Thats what I was thinking - and yeah, the shops just want to pick... might just group them in lots of ten or whatever I think...

Have you got a list of the singles? I might know someone who could be interested.

kill all the people singing on them, and then sell them one by one at top notch prices.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight
