They have to Choerograph the crowd

Behind the scenes

Mind you, Fergie could 'choreograph' me any time she liked!

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

When they call themselves Nickelback

When the bass player and guitarist have walked off. When the drummer has thrown a drink at the singer and walked off....   and finally when only the singer and two of the, to start with, sizeable audience's members are left.

I kid you not.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Really? Although if I am not mistaken, the Senseless Things did once appear on ToTP...or maybe that's when they went sh*t

This comes as a surprise although I'm  only really familiar with The First of Too Many.

Then sir, you should get a listen to the Is it too late? EP the year before...an absolute blinder.

I am prepared to be corrected on this, but in that early 90s period (probably about when Green Day did 'Basket Case'on ToTP) I think they may have gone a tad radio friendly and appeared.

Terminator X might be able to clarify this for us.

Sorry are we asking if the Senseless Things were on Totp? Well they obviously did as it's on youtube.

I'm fairly sure I saw them live and only had a single by them the name of which escapes me, I sort of went off on a psychedelic and punk trip when they were around and sort of missed them. ForteanTimes2010-03-08 10:50:04

Well you've (via Utube) proved my memory correct, then. Long term dementia has still to set in yay!

I saw them live at Perennial strugglers Liverpool Uni/Poly in the early 90s and they had the (reformed?) Joyce McKinney Experience supporting them which was awesome. Punk rock with hot lead singers!

The senseless things were so much faster live than I anticipated it was a corker.HarryHotspur2010-03-08 11:13:30

NP I can't remember half the bands I've seen live let alone on the telly. Dementia rules!  I said Dementia rules! I said Dementia rules! I sa... wait a minute...

Senseless Things, definitely not a sh*t band.

I liked pretty much everything they did, even the later stuff.

They had a great run of singles, which got collected together in 2000 on a compilation album called... The Singles!

Agreed, but even the best bands have momentary sh*tness (BR lasted about a decade), and a corollary of that was often an appearance on ToTP!

When they want to be the next U2.

(e.g. Coldplay, the Killers)

[maybe I'm playing Devil's Advocate here ...]

Stefan, you should be excluded from any discussion of this nature as it has been proven that your taste in music is truly atrocious. Like Wumbo's rapping atrocious.

I still havent heard those..

And so what.. I like Coldplay. I love Coldplay. They make me feel good.

And if you are thinking of making a reference to the 40 year old virgin. Ive already f**ked up that path.

I feel a thread coming on

That you like coldplay doesn't matter when you also like Justin Bieber and the Jonas Brothers.

And I mean that in the negative sense.

Huh, have only heard of Simple Minds out of that lot ... I must be too young.
Mind you, Echo & the Bunnymen fall into my definition too, and I love them!
