I might support Football and the phoenix but I wd kill to play ice hockey and inline is the next best thing in wgtn anyways. it's one of the hardest fastest sports out there... plus the king hits are a bonus

Have you got someone to teach you how to blade Surge? They have lessons at Kilbirnie Rec or you can hire a one on one frm Ferg's kayaks or least used to be able to. It helps to get the basics right. esp stopping as even I don't blade on windy days cause it can triple your speed round the waterfront and its way embarassing having a pile up with a passing pedestrian or smacking into a building deliberatly just to save yourself

She skated or bladed? they are pretty diff. lol I tried roller derby a while back but much prefer blades to skates and hate going round and round in a circle in only one direction
