Young bloke says to a bloke at work who had a reputation as a 'ladies-man':
"Hey, you'll know. How do you chat a girl up and get her to go out with you"?
"Depends on the circumstances" says the ladies man.
"Well" said the young bloke "I live on the outskirts of town in the old area and I fancy the girl next door. We still have outside toilets, and the only time I ever see her is just after I've had a shave in the morning when she walks down her side of the fence into the toilet. I'd like to ask her out but I don't know what to say to her"!
"Is there a garden on her side of the fence? said the ladies man.
"Yes" said the young bloke.
"Then wait till she's in the toilet, dash down your side of the fence and stand right opposite the door so she'll see you when she comes out and then say 'What a beautiful garden' and then take it from there" said the ladies-man.
"Oh beauty" said the young bloke "But what if she doesn't say anything"?
"Are there any flowers in her garden"? said the ladies-man.
"Oh yes" said the young bloke "Her Dad grows Roses. There's heaps of them"!
"Then say to her 'Those roses would look lovely in your hair'" said the ladies-man "and just take it from there"!
"Oh beauty" said the young bloke. That'll do the trick"!
So the following morning the young bloke has a shave and watches as the young girl next door waddles down the path and into the toilet whereupon he dashes down his side of the fence and locates himself directly opposite the toilet door and waits. About 10 minutes later the young girl comes out, sees the young bloke and smiles, whereupon he gestures with his arm and says:
"What a beautiful garden"
The young girl replies "Why thank you" and smiles again.
Encouraged by this the young bloke then adds "Those roses would look lovely in your hair"!
The young girl smiles again and says "Why thank you. Thank you very much"!
Whereupon the young bloke thinks for a few seconds and says
"Been for a sh*t then"?
