This appears to be similar to what I heard yesterday except they built a new adjustment system rather than new foils. Those Warkworth boat builders earned their keep. I would have done the same if offered that kind of money!

I think he has a few friends who own bars around the place and a lot of the time he watches sport out at bars so is just putting himself in their shoes. A bit weird still though, of all things to consider.
