I'd like to see the figures for the return on the investments the government has made. No doubt the country does make money, but all I've seen on the telly are lots of rich people drinking champagne and schmoozing.

Britain's investment and lottery funding in cycling has bought amazing success that has encouraged new people to  take up the activity. This is going to help cut the cost of running the health service in the future, ( apart from the epidemic of sore backs) . I like this as everyone can cycle. Sadly the closest I'll get to a yatch is my kayak.
