Insomnia
I like tautologies because I like them.

Dunno if there has already been a thread on this.

Had it last night. Usually once a week. Anyone else suffer from the wide-awakes?

I only smoke weed when I need to,
And I need to get some rest,
I confess, I burnt a hole in the mattress,
Yes, yes, it was me, I plead guilty,
And on the count of three I pull back the duvet,
Make my way to the refrigerator,
One dry potato inside, no lie
Not even bread, jam,
When the light above my head went bam!
I can't sleep, something's all over me,
Greasy, insomnia please release me,
And let me dream about making mad love on the heath,
Tearing off tights with my teeth.
But there's no relief,
I'm wide awake in my kitchen,
It's dark and I'm lonely,
Oh, if I could only get some sleep,
Creaky noises make my skin creep,
I need to get some sleep,
I can't get no sleep....C-Diddy2011-08-23 20:26:07

Or perhaps the Original Lyrics from 1996 Album "Reverence" if you will...

Deep in the bosom of the gentle night
Is when I search for the light
Pick up my pen and start to write
I struggle, fight dark forces
In the clear moon light
Without fear... insomnia
I can't get no sleep

I used to worry, thought I was goin' mad in a hurry
Gettin' stress, makin' excess mess in darkness
No electricity, something's all over me, greasy
Insomnia please release me and let me dream of
Makin' mad love to my girl on the heath
Tearin' off tights with my teeth
But there's no release, no peace
I toss and turn without cease
Like a curse, open my eyes and rise like yeast
At least a couple of weeks
Since I last slept, kept takin' sleepers
But now I keep myself pepped
Deeper still, that night I write by candle light
I find insight, fundamental movement, uh
So when it's black this insomniac take an original tack
Keep the beast in my nature under ceaseless attack
I gets no sleep
I can't get no sleep

I can't get no sleep
I can't get no sleep
I need to sleep, although I get no sleep
I need to sleep, although I get no sleep

All nighters? I usually stay awake until super late then go to the couch and put the telly on, fall straight to sleep. I don't get stressed about it anymore, just bored!

Sometimes. Not tonight i hope. Just had 7 codeine pills.

Three for me, and two for them.

Why take codeine for it? Why not benzos or something more appropriate?

I've had sleep issues for as long as I remember. Not fun. Immune to sleeping tablets too.

Try a lettuce leaf sandwich, has a natural soporific in it.

Your last.fm profile speaks many words for it!

We will never fully decide who has won the football.
