they lots of fun. This one cost 469 or something, good old student loan, and holds 8GB. Best toy I ever got.

anywhere. i think your 1k is referring to the iPhone (which aint in and might not even get to New Zealand, dang Telecom), not iPod touch (which is the same but no phone)orilla2007-10-31 13:12:57

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

its wifi, so if you can find an open wifi network with Internet, then it don't cost anything. So I gonna spend my time finding free Internet.

The iPhone is available in NZ if you know where to go (there's a guy in Tauranga I think that is selling them). It is also possible to get the instructions to unlock the things so that they can be used with a NZ sim (I believe it requires downloading of a software script).

There's at least 3 guys at work with them and they love them.

Regarding official plans, Vodafone have stated no plans to bring them in. But, Telecom is building a UMTS (read GSM 3G) network due for completion at the end of '08 and it would not surprise me if they bring them in.
