I'll bet. I would love to see 'em, but I can't so I'm trying to convince myself that it would be sh*t!!!

You're not helping BTW...

Ha ha. My brother tried doing the same thing when he missed the Stones concert last year. He's a life long fan and couldn't go cos he lives in remote WA and couldn't afford it.

He said things like 'oh well its not the real stones cos Bill Wymans left' and 'they're too old now'.

I went to the concert in Auckland and can assure you they still know how to rock.

Is this helping any?

Never picked you as a Maiden fan, Carney.
Think I'll be giving that one a miss, not one of my favourite bands. I am going to see the mighty Motorhead in the 'Naki next month tho'!

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Since I was an impressionable 10 year old with a 15 year old cousin who blasted it constantly my dear AJ!

I come from a family of muso's and we're pretty reliable for a good rendition of Maiden classics such as "Clairvoyant" and "Be Quick or Be Dead" - to be fair our catalogue is near endless! You'll usually see me on bass, but if not i'll be playing the role of Janick - backup to 2 better guitarists!

Maybe I need to start another Off Topic Thread for people to jam with....just bought some new gear.....mmmm

I'm just hoping that the mighty Judas Priest will be heading Down Under on their 2008 tour.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I went to Pink Floyd in Sydney back in 88 (?). It was the best concert i've been to - Delicate Sound of Thunder tour. I'd liked to ben at the Dire Strait "Lover over Gold" concert because the "Brothers in Arms" one sucked BIG time. More synthesisers than in a chemical laboritory.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Who's the line up these days? Last Album I bought was "Die with your boots on". I know, I'm ancient. Good album though.
