At least they gave MoM to du Plessis.

See other thread - I've decided to hope they do and I will claim moral victory.  To be honest I see Sri Lanka putting together partership big enough to prevent the follow on once the ball stops swinging (just like the last test) and that will be enough to see them through for the draw.

Pretty embarrassing little tantrum from our captain just then. Sure he got run out when he was looking at another century but he was the one who called for two before Southee got to look up. Even if it is Southee's fault you should not carry on like that, particularly if you're captain.

Even though you are right TL, two lessons for Southee:

1) Try not to run out your captain (even if you are in the right)

2) NEVER run out the man on 74* when you are on nought, even if you are in the right - in that situation you take the bullet.

Surely we won't lose, 370 is a big 4th innings total to chase, 330 with 6 wickets left is worse. A draw is possible but still a big improvement on last week

A couple of first session wickets and we'll be looking great for it. 

That run out was a freebie. Cancels out the one we gave them. 

Helps us when we don't even need to take the wickets! Definitely going to be a blockfest now, confident we can get the wickets.

Will be harder for the spinners with the batsmen not looking to score runs. 

Ross Taylor is an awful runner between the wickets. Always seems to be involved in run outs or close calls.
