Who else thinks that TVNZ showing a James Bond film every Saturday night is great?

I'm loving watching all the classics. Never seen these ones.

Nice work TVNZ.

Can't remember which one will be next week. But I loved Goldfinger tonight.

Yeah, would be interested, they're showing all of them on TV1 but yeah that'd be cool. Old ones are the ones I'm most keen on.

The old movies remind me exactly why Daniel Craig's the worst James Bond ever.

Ohh I reckon Pierce Brosnan was worse.

I only saw him a while ago in License to Kill, and I don't remember him being too bad then.

Done my research, they're showing 20 and there are 22 yeah?

24... the 22 won't include the Thunderball remake - Never say never again or the original Casino Royale.

I haven't read the books since I was your age... so quite a while ago.  Although I have been reading the Junior James Bond books which the Junior News has out of the library.

These ones are recent, and called Junior James Bond.  Written by Charlie Higson from the Fast Show.

Yeah but he's more like the Bond from the novels. A nasty bit of work/bit of a pyschopath. He was better than Roger Moore no? (or Roger "Moose" which I just typed, he he, Roger Moose, tickled me that).

Moore played it for the laughs only. I remember going to see Octopussy and even though I was not yet in my teens I thought the film was ridiculous.

Goldfinger last night was Gold.

Pathetic. Not apathetic.

TVNZ stuffed it up though. They needed to show them in chronological order as the earlier films explain things in the later films such as the charactor "Jaws". They really should have done their home work.

All the bonds are good, they offered a different personality to the charactor. Craig really is like the Bond in the books.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Yeah, thats what put me off watching them.  Would have been interested in watching them in chronological order, but couldn't be bothered as they seemed to be jumping around from place to place.

Diamonds are Forever begins in 7 minutes. I am going to watch this as well as flicking between League and A-League.

Am loving these Roger Moore films, they're great. A View to Kill on tonight, having to juggle with Super 14 and NRL.

Whats the one where Sean Connery disguises himself as a small asian villager by dressing in black and making his eyes slightly squint with  false eyebrows?
Amazingly he  somehow gets away with it ,no one spots the huge great hulking  Edinburgh mikman hiding within, quite possibly the most implausible movie disguise in history!
Got to love it !
Ah Pushy Galore!!

Moonraker was rubbish, but I liked Moore as Bond. He was goofy, but he still had game.

First Bond Moive I saw at the theatre was "The Man With The Golden Gun".  I mostly remember it because there was a man with three nipples.

Can't really remember much of the plot.
