Can anybody recommend a good local web designer for me. The backbenchers website is crap (some mate of the head chef built it ages ago) and we really need a new one. we need it to be simple, informative and easily modifiable so people without HTML skill's (most of our staff) can update/upload, and modify the info when we have changes. I need a site designed for my business too - have had a couple of go's at it myself but I am quite sh*te... my site will be pretty basic, so I hopefully won't be paying huge dosh... but am happy to pay for what I'm getting as it will be the 'gateway' to my empire so it's gotta look pretty smart

Ive seen some quality stuff so far, and I have seen some crap. I have also been amazed at the variety of pricing that is out there, it's like some of these companies just pull a number out of thier asses and laugh all the way to the bank, when they just rehash an old template in a couple of hours and bill for 2 weeks work.

Maybe it's an anti-Gooner conspiracy... I just got quoted AUD$500 for a site - and the three sites they showed me as evidence of the 'quality' of their work were bloody deplorable!!!

Our Four Kings website is fantastic, if I do say so myself. Big Reg has done a fantastic job and after shopping round I though the price was extreamely good. Is recommend 24wab to anyone looking at having a website
