I like this site. Old pictures of people who are mostly long dead.

It's sort of grounding that no matter what you are or are going through these dead folk have pretty much been there before.

The thing I like about photos is that they can be picked up and looked at. I know the cloud is similar but what if the cloud dies one day? The we will be a a dark age like the time of the Romans f*cking off back home and the Saxons taking over, ok I judge everything by the history of the British Isles.

The 60's and 70's photos are really strangely haunting to me as I was a baby then and it looks just as it did. If you know what I mean. It's also the vibrancy of the colors of the 60's and 70's pics - it defines it for me.

Come again?

Anyway, the Romans weren't all that great (apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system and public health).  The Saxons were not too bad either (at least they weren't Normans).  Just the next wave of immigrants who have shaped the British Isles.

Just imagine what Stig would have made of all of the different ethnic groups that have come and gone since his time.

Not enough saxing until they moved in. Then therewas Wessex, Sussex, Middlesex and ESSEX (woot woot). So much sexing going on that the damn Vikings wanted to get in on it.
