Breasts?
I like tautologies because I like them.

Breasts?
Do you mean did Breasts make an appearance in the film or the reference to "Penthouse"??
I don't recall seeing any, Tigers or Oska do you know?

Huh, thought it would be just one for the Manc fans. worth a watch then. Festival hits CHCH soon so will check a few things. Any other recommendations, 'Adventureland' sounds good. 80's style coming of age film... I'm thinking Breakfast club, Ferris Bueller.
Seen 'Red Cliff' already, not a John Woo fan but movie has beautiful cinematography and not really that much else to it.

Read some good reviews about it, but still trying to get my sh*t together to see The Damned United. At this stage it is looking like I will get round to seeing it about 2011.
All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Any film that bears reference to anything remotely related to the f**king Mancs does not deserve any of my precious time!!!

Enjoyed the film immensely gritty realism and humorous fantasy combined,Cantona as the alter ego of the main character was inspired writing!
I remember having to study Ken Loache's film Kes at school in the mid/late seventies for English O level , bleaker than his current offering and without the humour but no less interesting!
A great british film maker in my humble opinion!

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

Wow that takes me back, my sis did it for her O level. We had the talking book cassette of Kes which was ace, the bloke who played the teacher narrated it

Saw movie on Monday - excellent! Some great laughs! Put aside your prejudices and see the movie when it comes back to mainstream cinemas (I'm sure it will). As they showed highlights of Cantana's goals I thought to myself how great would it be if we saw some classy goals from Ifill, Greenacre and co.

Kes was a great movie, and yep fairly grim
Ken loach's movies usually see me fairly despondent afterwards but ... well let's not give it away
I think he did My name is Joe - which was just torturous
