78 and an 83, to get 19+ for the tournament. who would think he won it three years ago. I heard on the radio that he has hit one round under par all year and missed something like 9 out of 11 cuts this year. He is the NZ 4th ranked golfer and 339th in the world yet he is only our second ever major winner.

I blame that range of truly horrible "Cambo" golf wear he brought out.

Atleast he's consistent

Considering he travels with his golf coach, his own sports Psychologist, I can see two unemployed people out of the three of them any day. Too much thinking about things instead iof going out there and just doing it. He has an awesome talent but it is like he is keeping it locked away.

Linds you are correct, shame it's for the wrong reasons.

Yep, if only he could covert that consistency into consistently good. He might even challenge Tiger if that was the case

I've always thought his US Open win was a fluke.

Fluke might not be the correct word - but 50% of golf major winners are pretty much 'no-names' TBH.

As for Tiger.  What a putt.

I like tautologies because I like them.

13+ for the tourrnament and 11 shots off the lead. Still can't believe he made the cut. Greg Norman has a two shot lead. Must be pretty hard conditions. There are people at 7+ but are still in 5th place.
