How did I live without it for so long?

The recording/fast-forwarding, the series links for recording, the HD sport (the Premiership looks incredible in HD). And no more getting up in the middle of the night to watch Premiership!

I'm well impressed.

How many hours of tv can you store in it before it becomes full?

ive got a song that wont take long, Adelaide are rubbish.. the second verse is same as the first.. ADELAIDE ARE RUBBISH

The sky tech that installed it said 600 hours worth from memory. I'm not sure exactly how many GB it holds though.

The free mysky with purchase of an HD TV runs until the end of the year I believe, a good excuse.

Edit: it's 320GB.

When you record Premiership games, I assume the recorded programme will also be in HD?

Thinking about getting this myself - costs $15 a month for the box and an extra $10 a month for HD content, correct?

That's right Michael. Alternatively, you can pay a one-off fee of $599 and own the box, thereby only needing to pay $10 ongoing per month.

No, it doesn't edit ads out. However, you can fast-forward a recorded show/game at up to 30x speed, so an ad break takes about 5 seconds.

excepting where you may have recorded from TV One wherein that 5 secs may be more like ten minutes....
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

I wish Telstra did a similar system!

Only problem is, you can't send video's of the Phoenix games back to the old country.
