The Rock.

Three for me, and two for them.

So, no-one knows any celebrities then?

I've seen quite a few very famous people in my time, but can't say I know any of them...

Is The Rock not a celebrity anymore?

To be honest, there's a lot of celebrities I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole.

The Mint Chicks, Odessa, Andrew Strauss, Llorne Howell (doubt many people actually would have heard of him, but he played for the Black Caps in the late 90's), several MP's and of course Robb Watson.

EDIT: Actually, the number of cricketers and cricket-related famous persons I know would fill the Fever Zone.

I met Steven Jones (ex Wharfies captain) a few time - arrogant c**t of the highest order.

I think he might be homophobic as well.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Went to primary school with Terry Serepisos. Grant Turner (1982 World Cup All White) was a rep for a supplier to a company I use to work for, had quite a bit to do with him then, still see him occassionally. Saw Andy Serkis (Gollum) at The Warehouse few years back (does that count?).Wongo2008-06-17 07:53:53

Ricky Herbert walked past me once at Newtown park and Helen Clark drove past me once in a car between Timaru and Christchurch, but I didn't get much of a look at her.

As for famous people, I've worked with quite a few.  The strangest was a comedian who was just the same in real life, no off button.  It helped that my neighbour was agent for film stars in London.  Nice walking into a bar with someone famous and watch the sea part.

We need a new thread for famous people you've had a pint with.
Then there's famous people I've almost run over because you're figuring out who they are and forget there is a pedestrian crossing coming up.

Monica walks into her dry cleaning store and tells the guy,

"I've got another dress for you to clean."

Slightly hard of hearing, the clerk replies, "Come again?"

"No," says Monica. "Mustard."
