So what new music are you currently listening to? List individual songs or whole albums but tell the world about it. Let's try and keep this thread up to date with lots of cool recommendations.

Two songs that I currently can't get out of my head are:

Selfridges Girl Not On MySpace  - Lethal Bizzle (off the Back To Bizness album)

Bubbles - Dizzee Rascal (off the Maths + English album)

I give both a Fever Factor rating of 8 (out of 10)

Re-wind Selecta!

Don't worry, let's say anything released in the last 6 months to a year is "new" music. Sometimes it takes that long to really figure out whether a piece of music has staying power or not.

Don't forget those Fever Factor ratings though, and feel free to add a bit of editorial comment.

Actually, if enough people respond to this and the same album titles keep popping up I'll put the obvious contenders into a poll and we will be able to award the very prestigious Yellow Fever Album Of The Year award.

Just keep the nominations coming in for now... (you can name your top 5 or top 10 albums of the year, or just your favourite, whatever you like really).

Nope, 15 going 85

These songs are alright:  Wyclef Jean featuring Akon, Lil Wayne, and Niia-Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill)  and Chad Kroger + Santana - into the night

Also Trigger Theory, I have a feeling they won Rockquest one year. They were also the guest band at the BOP finials this year. Run Kid Run2008-01-14 11:18:09

Hmmm, finding it hard to identify any obvious candidates for an album of the year poll. Never mind, that just reflects the marvellously eclectic taste of YF members. Keep them coming though.

Fright of the week. I thought they, Hanoi Rocks, were dead defunct a squillion years ago...
