Great gesture Gareth.

Nice to see Nix getting a passing mention alongside a nice story for once too.

Experience tells us that (at least part of the time) he won't wear it...

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

New CEO anyone?

I thought he was cointinuing to work at GMI? Was my understanding in the press release. He's just selling off the ownership. "Cashing up" is how someone described it.

Probably to raise capital and transfer Messi to the Nix?

He said he only wanted to manage 10 people. Should be OK with the club.

today on morning report he said "ten people and a goalkeeper"

getting closer (no it's not)

but it does slip football into the media as part of another story (a signal that football is becoming part of the dominant culture, it will take a while but Gareth is advancing his All whites/football target)

Yes. It was a great "lets slip football into this otherwise reasonably dull item" attempt and should be applauded. Obviously a little thought had gone into it because we might not have noticed if he had said "eleven people" (unless he has an opinion about whether goalkeepers count as people).

I'm slightly disappointed!

Agree with Blanket Man assessment. IIRC Gareth may have already put substantial coin into Nix! Blanket Man funeral = Small chump change

Also it wasn't just a random gesture (which would still be nice of course).

The Dom article quotes Mr Morgan as saying that he frequently talked to Blanket Man so there was a connection there.
