Does anyone else have this?
I got the sensor for Christmas and the Shoes for my birthday. Great presents (Cheers Janelle!)

For those who don't know.. Its a little sensor that you insert into a special Nike shoe and it talks with your iPod. It times you, notes the distance ran and plays music depending on your speed or whatever.

Ive plugged the iPod into the computer and it sends the info off to your own profile on a Nike website and tells you how far you have run and all other kinds of stuff. You can set training programes, compete with friends and set goals.

Im not too sure of all the little features as im having a play on the website and so far ive gone .02km after walking the hall and back.

It would also be cool to find people to compete with if possible. For a bit more motivation.

I would but:
a) It's a rediculous price, and;
b) Puma FTW
You know we belong together...

I need to actually get out for a run before I start getting into that stuff.

I went to go get a gym membership and came home 10 minutes later with a foosball table. Best decision of my life.

My iPhone doesn't work with it without the receiver unfortunately.
And the touch I was using is being used today so I wasn't motivated enough to go for a run..

Warning: enormous LOLs potential with News, Stefan, Shogan and Hampster talking about their respective fitness regimes!

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

My fitness regime involves me delving further into the the realms of Northland every week ! A scary proposition for most.

Calf bork coming along nicely thanks for asking Smithy.  Even did some garden work today... close to the first time in 7 years.

Hamster, when you run past Pembroke motors give them some love.  They keep the Fever mobile moving.

How's my driving? - Whine here

Nike plus gears... Pretty decent actually. Nike have started to up their game a bit- amazing running shoes till late nineties, then pretty much stopped developing and were overtaken by most other running shoe companies- product is better now though.

As for the sensor- for it's price it is pretty decent, and the programmes are decent as well. It's not going to be as accurate as a gyro-footpod (see POLAR), but I'd say better than a GPS unit (gets screwy in hills/tall buildings- but probs more accurate than Nike sensor). But the Nike sensor (for once) is a sh*tload cheaper, handy as for what you want it for.
