NRL Tipping Comp 2012

If your interested in joining a NRL tipping comp, please reply to this thread with your tips for the first week.

This will be a head to head league, your tips will face off against another players tips each week. Whoever gets the most correct tips collects 2 points. Losing a match up will give you 0 points. If it is a draw, we will go into golden point.

For golden point, each week I will get you to pick a team to meet a certain goal. I will compare both players selected teams, and the winner will be which team meets the goal the best. If both teams meet it equally, it will be a draw and you get 1 point each.

eg: If I ask 'who will score most points?', I will compare both teams that are selected. The persons whose team scored the most out of those 2, wins.
eg: If I ask 'who will score least points?', I will compare both teams that are selected. The persons whose team scored the least out of those 2, wins.

Hopefully we will have 16 players, that will give us two conferences of 8 players. If we have less, I will look for tipping websites to fill up the remaining spots. If we have more, I will think of a format to fit the amount that wish to play.

Results should be available on Tuesdays, and I will try and send out reminders to people on Thursdays.

You will play people in your conference twice, and the other conference once. To qualify for the play offs, you need to finish top 4 in your conference. These will be done over the last 4 weeks of the regular NRL season.

[Edit: I should point out in the play offs, it will be 1 v 2, 3 v 4, with the loser of the 1 v 2 match facing the winner of the 3 v 4 match the next round. This provides more incentive to finish top 2]
