Is anyone currently enrolled and studying with them or has done so in the past?

Good or bad experiences?

Looking to fill in the time that unemployment brings by learning and gaining qualifications for my employment skills.

Any (serious) advice would be greatly appreciated!

I did one paper with them last year.
It was distance learning, and so very much relies on self motivation to get the work done (which resulted in a bit of last minute stress to get everything done on time) but the set up was pretty good.
So yeah, if you can handle distance learning, then it's a pretty decent option.
As per most learning institutions it probably depends on what you want to study though.

Have dabbled in a little distance learning a few years back and found it easy to cope but at that time I was actually full time employed.

I'm more looking at finding out whether people have had good or bad experiences with Open Poly as it is my preferred provider of education at this time.

Sweet. Well yeah, I had a good experience I guess. Nothing really to complain about anyway.

Enrolled in NZIM Management Course and I must say that I am suitably impressed with Open Poly so far!

I am thinking about it so would be keen to hear about other feedback on this thread too.

Self motivation is not my strong point by any means though, although the thought of wasting $600+ might help me along...
