Any ideas when tix are going on sale???  No doubt it will sell out which means they may announce another concert in Auckland.  I'm sick of having to travel for gigs, why can't Wellington get more big bands coming here??? We're the capital for crying out loud! argh!!

I've seen Pearl Jam a few years ago, it was Freakin awesome, my only complaint was that they only played one song from 10  whats up with that.  For me that is their best album.

I alway thought that was one of the purposes for the stadium - that is untill the Thorndon residents association complained.

Our stupid weather always ruins it for us for having concerts there.  If only we had a retractable roof, but that would have cost too much I guess.

It's because we don't have a decent midsized venue, in fact we don't really have a decent venue full stop, apart from the small ones like San Fran.

If someone could get their sh*t together, build a venue with a sound system that is not garbage, you'd get bands coming to Wellington.

No Venues - No Wellington - No Comment --- even Aunt Daisy's Boathouse has now gone !

Does anyone know, if Lady Prendegast's Kilbirne Super Dome will be used as an entertainments venue or is it just for "Dead Ducks"  ?

Explicitly stated as sports-only in most articles I've read.

I can't work out pricing.  Visa presale says $120 and $150 tix, altho normal price is $100 and $120.  Is it just a Visa and ticketek ripoff like the phoenix season tix debacle?

I let my guitar speak for me
