What are the job perks that are out there? Whether your a worker, manager, boss.. Just interested in what else is out there.

I'm a dairy farmer, have access to free milk 10 months of the year and meat supply never runs out, not to mention they both taste 100x better than the rubbish at the super market. Also accommodation is supplied, but I pay tax on it or IRD will come knocking on my door.

I work in a library and have first dibs on every new book, magazine, CD or DVD that comes through the joint. The library I work for is in a good (read 'rich') area, has a huuuuge budget and an enormous collection.

Sweet as.

Being a rep for a brewery has it's benefits - believe me! (and no, not just the liquid ones lol).

Being a consultant/contractor has bugger all tho!!!

Student = being able to take nana naps, enjoying parents mysky for access to plenty of football, and study is considered to be the same as playing Fifa10.

However it does leave time to help do things like coach...

Managing an Audio Visual company I allow myself to take home projectors, screens, LCD's or plasmas to watch big sporting occasions....

And I get a few free tickets here and there and invites to some great events....

After work my car battery died so I went to the tavern across the carpark from work and they were playing the Phoenix game.  Maybe they had nothing else to televise but it'd be worth giving them a go if you have nowhere else to watch the game.  Harewood Tavern is the name (I think).

But Newsy not all perks are illegal, or against codes of conduct. Stealing staionary doesn't = a perk

for example in my last job as an event coordinator i got plenty of tix to gigs and games, and took them gladly as research & simply as a bit of fun. To not know that industry is to die a quick death.

My job doesn't have any perks. Although I do get 6 weeks AL but that is part of the contract, not a perk.

At my last job (IT, working in an office) we got a weekly delivery of fruit and soft drinks.

Never lasted the whole week though!

My boss is a computer illiterate. see no harm in typing emails all in caps, and had me set explorers homepage to soccer-net.com on his computer so he doesn't have to look hard to find out the scores and results.
I'm "Hard" at work right now. browsing bank statements sure works up a thirst, if only i knew somewhere i could get a drink.
