This seems like the end of an era.  We really are saying good bye to NZ First.  In fact NZ First may come third in the Tauranga pary vote.
Too many excuses.  And in the end Winnie couldn't take some of the 'smear and mud' that he is so famous for.

check out this week's Listener for a real intersting article on NZ First's finances/financing....
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

I won't miss him as politician, but I will miss the sheer entertainment, saw a great vid on youtube a few weeks ago of him ripping into the national front bench one-by-one.

I reckon we should send him as ambassador to somewhere like China or the States, important enough to massage his ego but also a place where he wont f**k up or be too involved in our domestic politics.

Nup, send him to Turkministan or something. The middle east region is something we really have no interest in (apart from oil) and we've got no influence in. That way if he does cock up on a grand scale we can just let them stone him

I'm sure he'd get along well with all the kebab makers
