Has anyone living in Wellington noticed these little finch-type birds that have bright yellow and black markings? I saw my first one about 2 weeks ago, and have seen them quite regularly since. I think it is an omen of the good ilk.

Two seconds of Googling reveals them to be Goldfinches. However, I shall call them Phoenix birds, and I'd encourage you to do the same - at least mentally.

Eh! Dodgy bird based double-entendres and no-one has mentioned a shag yet?

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

The birds you speak of quite regularly feed on the grass seed at the Ring of Fire itself.

Fuck this stupid game

I bet the shirt was torn off right after the photo was taken.

Saw some PBs this morning on my way to work. Pretty little friggers.
