the super 14 runs for 14 weeks and the climax should be at the playoffs, but this only lasts for two weeks and has three games. look at the NRL where the playoffs go for six weeks and it is a really succesful competition. at this stage, super 14=

I actually agree with you, I just wanted some justification

A 6 team playoff could work, and adds two extra matches (3 v 6, 4 v 5, then regular 1 & 2 vs. survivors). Don't want to go too far like top 8 since S14 isn't as close a competition and you'd see the same old teams in the playoffs year after year.
