Three for me, and two for them.

I'll be there, cant wait. Haven't been since I was 16. Was there the first year we won it which was pretty magic. Going as the Eden Park Construction team, had considered going as the Recession or the Spray and Walk away guy but decided against

Just quietly Stefan, BigTobz told me he was going to sneak a bottle of bacardi in and then use it to throw at players.... I'd be watching out for him if I was you

I enjoy sevens as a sport in its own right, always have. Although I am a Rugby tragic. Love the way Tietjens molds these teams together year after year and continue to put together amazing results

You have to wonder why Henry keeps the top job when Gordon keeps winning tournaments and World Cups. 7's not my cup of tea but i respect the fitness levels and effort put into becoming a player on the international stage.

Tietjens coached BOP for a number of years, never really cut it as a 15s coach

Great first day. Some upsets, some good entertainment and someone mentioned there was some rugby or something too.
Have to say that Stefan's pants are too short though.

Thoughts.

Its no longer a problem.

The Haka and sing along in the interval was awesome, not that I went, but on telly it looked like a fantastic atmosphere (as always)

Glad we finished top of the table after the joke openng game against Wales And how about Kenya stuffing South Africa or USA beating Fiji, Upsets all round.

Roll on day two

Meh. They ride up too.
I had a bloody good run around. Chasing balloons, ripping apart beach balls.
Fun though, and I get payed time and a half.
Another day tomorrow.

And Cheers to HarryPeters for introducing yourself to me.
I cant change my avatar now, nobody will know who I am.

Yes. In the "extra time" of rugby 7s. We were winning when the horn went, then they scored.

I thought the rugby didn't matter...

Three for me, and two for them.

The French dude especially he was a dick, ruined a few games with petty cards, but he was consistant i suppose

How dare you rip up beach balls. Evil person.
What a great final day. Gutted NZ lost but not that worried as England won :-)
Gonna be a rough day tomorrow.

Its no longer a problem.

Meh. Today was good. Not as much running.
I made a sh*t easy $20 from a crowd member. Got plenty of kisses, made new friends, had pictures taken of me (Because I look like Shia Lebouf) met celebs, ripped up more beach balls and popped balloons, got "Homo" chanted at me by a quarter of the crowd for doing my job by destroying the balls, got to roam anywhere I want, got pitch access and the perfect view of the games.

And in between that I picked up bits of rubbish.
Sweet job.

How funny was the singer from the exponents?
I was walking with him to his place before he went on and he was in a very bad way.
Then forgetting the words, mumbling and losing track of where he was in the song was just too much for me to handle.

And Marley's real name is Peter.

And when the crowd all sang together..
I felt like crying.
From where I was it sounded so good. I got to hear what the players hear and because I got "Homo" chanted at me it made me feel like an away team player.

Is "away team player" a euphemism?

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Stefan,

I thought you did a marvellous job. Your beach ball confiscating and stray plastic bag chasing abilities really are excellent. Well Done!

I'm slightly disappointed!

Not good.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Magic event, loved it. My very very sunburnt shoulders didn't however. Got a mean photo with Siggy at the pub after which had to be a highlight. Did anyone have the pleasure of seeing the insightful analysis provided on Breakfast on Friday morning? Im a genuis, i'll admit it
