I've been watching it on Netflix, and got to the end of the first 8 episodes, only to find that I have to wait for the last 8.

Cruel!

Last night we caught the start of Stephen Fry's Planet World.

There was a clip of him standing in front of some chimps at what I was sure was Wgtn Zoo.  Sure enough: https://www.facebook.com/WgtnZoo/posts/107873222655069

Looks like a good doco.  Liked the bit about Nim Chimsky (goes back to my skool daze).

On now.  Looking at Tourette's and swearing.  F*ckin ace!

This is amazing.  Stephen Fry with his hand in a tank of ice saying "F*ck".  Brian Blessed doing the same saying "Boll*cks".

Edit:  Just finished.  A brilliant episode and a great summation by Fry.  It should be sent to that utter bell end and f*cktard David Baddiel (the twunt).

Suits is #1 for me at the moment. Been a long off season but almost there!

Still can't get enough of this. 3rd season is definitely delivering the goods.

Season 3 is very good but Breaking Bad is trumping it at the moment, a few episodes left and the past two have been mind blowing, the week wait between is quite tough as i got all the first four seasons + the first half of season five off a mate and basically watched one after the other.

Just started watching Suits. Really liking it. Almost through Season 1 now.

I've been watching Mission Impossible & Bonanza on the Jone's channel. Some of it might be corney but when you comapte it to the reality shows and talent shows on TV today, MI & Bonanza are streets ahead in quality and credibility.

Yeah but which main character is going to die this season??

Rick

Carl, (Rick' s son)

Glenn

Daryl

Carol

Maggie

Hershel

Michonne, (chick with the Katana)

Beth Greene

The Governor, (yes he's still alive - that's who Michonne is hunting)

one of the other lesser known survivors?

My Money is on Glenn. Too many main chicks have had their brain's eaten, so it's time for a bloke. They've not introduced anyone big/charismatic enough to replace Rick and Hershel has already been nibbled on. Daryl too cool for the blokes and too sexy for the chicks to kill off at the moment although he is deffo less buffed than in previous seasons. Carl is to important for the "kid growing up in a zombie apocalypse." role to get killed and he's been close to death like Hershel.

Glenn has never worked for me somehow.

I'd like to know who cuts Carol's hair also. Do the have a tame famous zombie celeb hairdresser? Not many chicks can pull off short hair but she can.

Bit late to post now I suppose, but watched Pillars of the Earth on Vibe. Based on Ken Follets book. A good watch.

The sequel World without end starts on Friday night.

They were both bloody good books and the Pillars of the Earth mini series did not disappopint

Don't know anything about catfish, but that reminds me of Catweazle.

It's a reality show about people who fall in love on the internet, but one of them is usually a fraud. So these two guys from MTV, when contacted, go on a snoop, try and uncover who the person is, then take the person to meet them. Lols then ensue. In most cases they're usually fatties pretending to be models and shit with fake names, other times they're transgender, gay dudes pretending to be chicks... pretty funny.

This thread has always amused me considering the title 'Quality TV Shows'  Perhaps we should redefine the word quality.

I love those old 70s BBC shows, even those ones your nana used to watch. Recently watched all of Upstairs Downstairs, Poldark and currently up to season 5 of The Onedin Line ("Oh you're a hard man, James Onedin!"). Unfortunately I can't get my wife to watch Colditz or WIngs. Bodice ripping she's fine with, stiff-upper-lipped chaps doing battle with the filthy Hun not her cup of tea.

I enjoyed  Secret Army. They went on to base  'Allo Allo ' on that programme.
