Just hammering "Luther", into series 3 now. Brilliant British drama with a few turns you don't expect. Watching it without commercial breaks is fun.

UnNatural Selection on Netflix is also very good! It talks about gene editing/CRISPR technique, BUT it has a very strong human element in that it explains the science while focusing on real people affected by genetic diseases who could benefit from these techniques becoming more accessible and affordable.
Also, NZ features quite heavily in the 6 episode series, highly recommended.
On the same note, both Explained and The Mind Explained are great!

- Chernobyl Total agree you have to watch this, it is so well done and its just six episodes. Everyone should see it

"Years and years" is interesting. Probably more for us SJW-types who fear what Trump may unleash.

Just watched McMillion$. On HBO. It is awesome. Totally weird characters in the biggest real world crime that no one knows about.

watched "on my block" on netflix found it to be good funny with a bit of drama thrown in, about a hood in the states and the lives of four teenagers growing up there.
Star Trek - Strange New Worlds. Features Christopher Pike as the Captain of the Enterprise just before James T. Kirk. I've watched all six episodes of this and I feel this is the closest version of Star Trek to the original series. it certainly pays homage to TOS. The phasers, the "sound" effects. Even a bit of humour in parts. The Character "Christopher Pike" is really good imho. The guy whom plays Spock has his voice down perfectly. I've really enjoyed it. Each episode is an individual story, yet there is a time line reference attached.
As for Star trek Discovery, that's crap and is obviously out there for the PC fans in this world. It seems so intent on pushing it's moral barrow that the actual stories in each episode come across as quite lame. I watched two episodes to give it a chance but no more. It's just messy.

Better Call Saul.
Just finished the mid season finale for the sixth and final season.
In fairness I was always going to watch it after breaking bad (all those years back) but admittedly it took me a season or two to get really into it. Quality show/series no less.
Three Mile Island on Netflix is a good watch too.

"Night Sky" - Prime Video, an 8 part series starring Sissey Spacek and JK Simmons as the leads. Both around 70, it makes for a nice change. And interesting ScIfi adventure and is slow paced but well worth being patient with. Deserves a 2nd season on effort alone. Minimal CGI too.

Dark is such a mind fudge. Think having subtitles made it easier to follow and stopped me from zoning out.
Peaky Blinders. Just finished series 6, which I thought was a bit down on previous. But Cillian Murphy as Tommy is still class, and love Tom Hardy's cameos as the unhinged Alfie Solomons.
Plus like the historical storylines learning about England between the wars, prohibition, opium trafficking, post WW1 PTSD, early IRA, Mosley the facist and all that stuff.
Sam Neill was good in the first series.

"Welcome to Wrexham" on the Disney+ Network. I've just watched all 18 episodes for season 1 and I hope there will be a season 2. IMHO it's bl00dy brilliant and gives an honest assessment in all things Wrexham related. Very well worth the watch. Full of laughs, honesty and points of view of players, fans, owners etc.

The Boys. Superhero but not as you know them. Very gory. Very good.

3rd installment in the Hanks & Spielberg WW2 drama series. Band of Brothers and Pacific, the earlier two. Like the other two, based off memoirs and books penned by actual veterans - nearly all now dead. This stuff doesn't glorify war, just tells it how it was in all it's horror, but also you get a feel for the incredibly special bond men (and women) can form when thrown together amongst it all.
The aerial scenes are amazing, and you know the whole thing is incredibly well researched. My type of thing.

Not having watched the 3rd Ted Lasso might be worth getting Apple TV back to watch both…
