Just wondering - when a topic is moved to a different section in the forum why does it still show up in the original section it was posted? Seems pointless moving it if still shows in the place the mods deemed it shouldn't go. Or does it just show there for a limited time before disappearing?

When we move stuff we have the option of leaving a "moved" link in the original forum. We use it so that people don't just start another thread thinking their original one has "disappeared".
Not sure if the "Moved" link expires or not.

off-topic to this thread but is there a possibility in the future to have an all other Sports section within off topic but separate?

Pretty happy with having threads for separate sports in the Off Topic section tbh. Unless there's a really good reason to set up another forum.

Would it be wise to have a section 'Recently Moved Threads' or something. Where it has threads that have been moved to another place. And then they don't clog up the forum they've been moved from. And then no one panics when they can't find their thread.
