Alfredo di Stefano.

A bit before my time but his record speaks for itself.

How good a striker was he. 216 goals in 282 games for Madrid.

Yeah James Garner was ace! The Rockford Files was a classic series, and Jimbo drove a classic car: A Pontiac Firebird, in which he pulled a few "J Rocks " or " Rockford turns " which enabled him to elude the numerous baddies who were following him...

Anyone remember him in a short lived series called "Nichols"? Was a western set around the turn of the century and he rode an old motobike.

Robin Williams will be sorely missed. I used to love seeing him on chat shows because he was so unpredictable and never straight faced. A real character. Very sad.

So shocked to hear of Robin Williams' death. Rest in Peace.

Awful shocking news. RIP.

Mrs Doubtfire, Hook, Jumanji and Aladdin. My childhood right there. Was only watching Crazy Ones, his latest sitcom, last night.

Very sad.

Did my Year 11 English film study on Dead Poets Society. He was superb in that. O captain, my captain.

RIP

Now that was a classy broad! :)

I gave pault a this as Lauren Bacall was the last of the great studio actors and she was funny, amazing and smoking hot when she was on a screen. She never did duff interviews. She was married to Bogey. To Have and Have Not as a first screen appearance is none to shabby at all - Screen legend.

Oddly enough, my favourite Robin Williams roll was in the Vincent Ward movie "What Dreams May Come". In my humble opinion it was one of his very best rolls. A serious actor showing all the emotions on a background of beautiful colours. A bit of a tear jerker but I guess for me, I saw it at a time when it meant something to me and has ever since.

Lauren Becall was an excellent actress in her own right, not just Bogeys wife. A real seductress with a soft yet huskey voice and a beautiful lady whom looked better as she aged.

He was or is a legend, first got onto him in 1975 when he and Paddy Feeny did the BBC World Service show on shortwave radio. Loved it and them. Was especially good around the 1978 World Cup and the English Division One prior to it. Brings back many happy memories for me personally.

I saw Joan Rivers live a couple of years ago at the Royal Albert Hall - she was amazing.  Savage, but incredibly funny.  I also love Fashion Police, with it being one of only four shows that I have set up on series link.  I am gutted by this news.
