World (well, NZ and Aussie) renowned toast artist, also Updated the Ian Curtis wall in Mt Cook; and was always a good bugger to deal with when he looked after the grog at New World in Island Bay back in the day.

Every kid, every week who is killed in New Zealand as the result of domestic violence. It's getting harder and harder each week to be proud to be a New Zealander. 

Our "she'll be right, not my business" attitude is killing our children. 

If you see it, step up or you are part of the problem.

It has been surprising realising just how many people knew him/knew of him.  Really great guy, and an awesome Uncle.

he was the owner of new world island bay, also brewed Bennett's beer before being a micro brewery in Wellington was cool.

Robin Hardy 86, director of  "The Wicker Man" (1973 classic version, not the horrendous re-make with Nicholas Cage). 

Also Michael Cimino 77, who directed " The Deer hunter ", mega flop "Heavens Gate"(IMO a pretty good film) and a great little film called "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot" starring Clint Eastwood and Jeff Bridges.
