Heard on radiosport this morning that they've raised soemthing like $60K since Tuesday!

Also that there's things like a signed Bobby Charlton England shirt on there now.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Yeah I noticed that straight away.

1. theres no match details printed on front
2. theres no world cup badge on sleeve (so not worn in a qualifier either)
3. its not even the current shirt

Im guessing it was worn against Mexico (the only other game involving this shirt which could be linked to the WC)

"He's also offering up his All Whites signed shirt that he wore in South Africa."
Nothing in that sentence above suggests that it is actually a "Match Worn" shirt!

Steve Gurney's race kayak is a good pickup if you're after a kayak. Cheaper than you'd buy in the shop! fundraising fail.

Nor does it say 'this is not an actual world cup worn shirt', and without that its easy to see how a potential buyer, particularly someone who isnt aware of the differences in the two shirts, could be lead to believe that its genuine WC memorabilia.

I had bids on that, thinking it was a world cup shirt. I don't want it now. But anyway, it's too high, so picked up a signed Sergio Aguero one! bit cheaper, so not concerned that it's not a world cup one, because Sergio Aguero is a superstar rather than a NZ left back.

Also the title of the auction is "Tony Lochead's World Cup kit"

What's the shirt? doesn't say in the description. I must say it's probably not worth a heck of a lot. Match programme is cool, along with Boca scarf, but the rest is a bit silly.

I'm guessing the shirt is the Richard Johnson one from a second auction.

Fully signed ones are tricky to do, but I suspect some of the interest is the cause like a lot of that stuff on Radio Sport.  It's probably getting to the point where I'd be divorced if I bought it, particularly considering my last signed town shirt just cost me the price of the shirt and air-freight to Finland.
