We get 8 straight five-pointers (in terms of the league) including against Auckland and Waikato and we can't almost lose to Tasman. WTF.

We were only trying to spark up the Comp from its usual doom and gloom. Who watched the game? How'd Buxton Popoalii go? He was the man for Coll last year.

I reckon hes not good enough yet. Tu Umaga Marshall was playing well before Joseph had an idea to make the change. Popoalii is just a little small but he does look like hes going to be a star of the future.

He got record for most points in Sec Schools rugby last year. But yes, he does look a little small, saw him at the BOP game, walking by Neemia Tialata. You could probably fit two Buxtons into one Neemia.

He played fullback last year which will probably be his future position.

No more challenges until those pointless games they play against Heartland teams. Auclkand v North Otago (120-0ish). Waste of f**ken time.

Na, they play them in June or July. But that could be an idea to have some in January and take the Shield on a road-trip around the Hurricanes provinces.

Been some talk that the Heartland challengers next season will be the winners of the Meads and Lochore cups.

Thats helpful. At least they won't (shouldn't) be 120-0 wins. Rugby thrashings... boring.

Why take it on a Hurricanes tour? The lions are separate from the Canes, Hawkes Bay and the Naki are competitors in the NPC but team up in the s14. Lock it away for the summer and make room for another trophy in a months time
