Sorry LG, not a lemon. Bought it to get into triathlons last year, then pulled hammy. With such a crap winter we've had I haven't used it and have no motivation to get into them now, plus I need to pay some bills to be able to enjoy summer!

I am on FM don't ask me how I did it, FG say's she told me, how would she know.
The thought of  what we did on Sun. would put him off. Anyway how long does it take for a hamstring to heal. What would have happened if it rained or was cold on the day of a triathalon, he would have had DNF against his name. Yes sell it mate your not cut out for it.GR

How much for the bike then? Not that I want it I have 3 already. Not into road races I'm just a Gutter Bunny. Just interested. Looks like a nice entry level bike though.

Are those Apollos the same as sold by Halford's in th UK?

You should get that for it Brumby DON'T TAKE LESS, I had a Apollo tandem alloy and we sold it for a $1,000, and upgraded to the Canondale tandem this bike is the Lamborginie of bikes, it just goes like the wind so smooth and fast, with a combined age of 137[ Captain & Stoker] we would challenge anyone and give them a run for their money. How's the hamstring have you recovered yet, it's a pity you have to sell it mate.GR

You stick to Kmart or The Warehouse for your bikes they are on a par with Halfords. This is serious suff, not for kids. FM has training wheels she can sell you GR

hmmm the logo looks the same though but I can't be arsed to google it and find out.

I'm hoping you are taking the piss and you are wrong there. Halford's Carrera bikes were cheap but good quality bikes, with good specs when I was last home, (6 years ago).

I have a $6000 trek
           a $2500 salsa la cruz
  and   a  $3000 Giant

I've ridden cheap bikes and after a weird chainsuck incident many years ago that almost killed me I have never bought a cheap bike again.

* Fort removes humourless bike head and replaces it with normal half-pissed twat head like wurzel gumage does.

No luck with the with the bike brumbys, just completed a 178km. training ride on Sun. and tied it in with the Tour of Wairarapa 110km road race all good stuff before Taupo Cycle Challenge my 7th. I was in good company FMs 2 brothers were with me, 1 of them rode from Seatoun to Carterton had breakky, shower change of cycle gear and we were off again out to Masterton for the start, Alfredton, Eketahuna and back to Masterton to complete the race, his time was 3hrs.36min.for the 110km after doing 130km over the hill before the start, my time 24min behind him then 17km back to Carterton. His total 257km. FMs other brother  had 3 punctures in the race so cut it short  but still covered 139km.
