You are about to head out on a road Trip, Wellington to Auckland and only allowed one Album to play. Greatest Hits or compilations not allowed. What would it be?
Mine would be
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Mocking of Old Peoples choices also not allowed !

If I was going today, it would be Live Insurrection by Halford. I'd probably choose something else tomorrow!
Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Either Pink Floyd "Delicate Sound of Thunder" or Meat Loaf "Bat Out of Hell".
"Welcome to Sky Valley" by Kyuss
People like Coldplay and voted for the Nazis. You can't trust people.
System of a Down - Mezmerize/Hypnotize(Do double albums count?)
Vivaldi - Four Seasons is another nice album.
After quite a bit of thinking, I'm going with Abbey Road.
System of a Down - Mezmerize/Hypnotize(Do double albums count?)
Not really a double album though as they were released individually, but you're right a double album is what's required so I change my answer to Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness by smashing pumpkins. Plenty of variety and length so you won't get bored on a long trip.
Abbie Road is also a good choice, that meddley on the second side never gets old.
Quadrophenia Sound track - the one in the grey cover, double album.
Mezzanine by Massive Attack is my second choice. Such a good album that would go down incredibly well whole driving.
But wouldn't your foot be flat down on the accelorator. Suddenly you notice you are doing 140kms.

The covers are designed to fit together in a double album format though (even though released individually) so i'm counting it!
Swans - The Glowing Man

Double Album !
Faith No More - Sol Invictus
Good choice, I'd probably prefer Album of the Year or Angel Dust, but then I have memories associated with those albums that you just can't generate as an adult.
I'd probably have Cave In Jupiter
I enjoy all the albums, I think this one is one of their best and is something a bit different...but now that we're talking double albums...hmmm
"...sure beats doin' stuff."
Double album - possibly a bit heavy for a road trip but it's one of the few times you listen to the lyrics properly so I'll go with Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile.
