Missed it! Gutted...

Explain the Aboriginal [haka]?

Hope there's a replay.

Scottish national anthem was something special.

NZ Maori's hakas vs the Aborigine team last year at the Ring was the BEST performance I've ever seen. All Blacks had NOTHING on them.

That was an awesome day, right up until the senior Kiwis ruined everything.

Cheering for two teams this year. Australia, and whoever is playing the Kiwis.

oh ok- more explaining needed

Maori did an awesome haka but the aborigine 'dreamtime' team moved forwrd to counter and they had spears- Maori boys had to back off lest they got a sharp poke! very entertaining

its on Maori TV now- no sky at Salmon househiold so Maori TV it'll have to be

It was the sport of the French Resistance, in the 70s i think it was they were nigh on unbeatable, until we beat Aussie in a series in 05 the last team to do it were France i think

In league there's Aussie, Great Britain, New Zealand, France, & Papua New Guinea.

Outside of the first three, you might as well include the Upper Hutt tigers, Wainuiomata, St George & Porirua as serious contenders.

Even Union has more teams.

I dont get why it matters how many teams are good, can you not just enjoy it? For me its a chance to watch the top nations all play each other and to see what could be a pretty decent Kiwi side develop

And thats utter crap LG, Tonga and Samoa both have very good sides this year. Probably teams that will beat France and PNG and give the Poms a very good run

If we get some ball we have a chance, we just have to get it first. And how have we not learnt from the warriors, when you are 10 metres from the line you put on a play that will put manu 1 on 1 and he will score. He is a gamebreaker, get it in his hands.
Klein is having a shocker!

Is there anywhere that I can watch the current NZ-AUS game online? My flatmate is watching a (crap) movie on SKY and I can't really overrule her as she was watching it when I got home...Carol2008-10-26 23:11:24

Probably not, nrl.com might have live scoring with text commentary or you could try radiosport.co.nz for radio commentary

Tell me about it! Haha. Although that was so much easier to enforce when sport-watching flatmates outnumbered non-sport watching flatmates! Grr...Although I can't ask her to stop watching her (crap) film, as I hog SKY ALL the time with sport.

Isac Luke needs to come into this team for me, i've never been a big Halatau fan. Would much rather have Luke on the bench, our pack has a bit of a sameness about it for mebopman2008-10-26 23:20:07
