hey, im at work and was coming back off my lunch break at 1pm when i saw a carnival for that rugby sevens thing, i watched it all up in the office, it was a good parade, good show! shame about the sport they play, but it shows you the support of all the teams as wellington was jam packed to the core in lambton quay at 1pm.

i dont like rugby at all but it was a good carnival, and guess what see that samba band that come to our home games at westpac, they were there at the beginning!!

Next year we'll sneak the Fever mobile in the middle of the parade... playing Phoenix City at full volume.

id just like to point out yellow fever had their chance last year!!
remember the launching of phoenix in that park with all the pigoens opposite bk and kirkaldies?
i was there. so was one and tv3 news.
yellow fever wasn't, but there was one man there steve romijn and if any of you watched the news that night you hear him chanting in his suit on his lonesum "theres only ONE rickki herbert theres only one rickki herbert, walking along singing a song walking in a herbert wonderland!"
and everyone just stood their starring and laughing at him.
i say gud on you steve because all these people that post on here that say rugby and cricket fans are boring who just sit there and do nothing are hippocrips because they did the exact same thing that day.

Yellow Fever was there, just there is a time and a place... and for me that wasn't either the time or the place.

One man chanting on his own on telly got 14000 along ?

He's a modern pied piper... every sports team in New Zealand should sign him on right now.

St Catherines under 16s could have beaten us that night.

We may not own them as much as we do Sydney, but they're still our bitches.

I did that at the Big Day Out and the music was about 600 times better, and not interrupted by a game of lunchtime touch masquerading as a credible sport.

Now that would be the classiest pull-off ever if you achieved that. A bloody brilliant idea!

whats the definition of pre-meditated wackiness though? how can any costume type thing not be? dressing up in costume for anything requires some degree of planning.
unless costumes are falling out of the sky then i cant see how 'spontaneous wackiness' could occur

Just like the LA Galaxy visit. Give it two weeks and nobody will give a toss who did or didn't go to the Sevens or who was wearing what!

I heard that if you are outside the Ring of Fire over the next few days and you throw a Tui bottle in the air that your punishment is to be kicked INTO the stadium by Red Badge!!!
