Scumbags in Paraparaumu

Hey All,

My wife's grandfather is in a nursing home, and we have been slowly working to clear out his house for sale, but this weekend someone has broken in and stolen a bunch of stuff (Below are some photos). If anyone has any information could they please contact the police in Pram? A lot of it is sentimental, stuff handcarved by her grandfather for his wife, and for other members of the family. Any help at all to recover this stuff would be greatly appreciated. Oh and of course all the tools used to create them as well, and many power tools as well.

My Mother-in-law has posted it on Facebook as well if anyone wishes to share this:

What a bunch of cods - These arsewipes never realise how much emotional attachment there can be to items like this. Nah bro, we just want our fix.

I really hope someone drops the offenders in it.

Just before my great grandfather passed a dozen or so years ago now he got robbed. Not only did they take precious items they also stole the photos of his late wife, you have to ask what value was there really? I guess frames can be worth something but not that much.

And with only 9% of burglaries solved there is very little fear that they will very caught.

The crap thing here for me is we don't even care if any of them get caught, we just want the shark back :(

Yep, keep an eye on vic deals and trademe, it's fairly distinctive stuff.

Try adding the same details to Neighbourly.co.nz as well - that site is really taking off (until it ends up full of spam and clickbait)

I live in Pram, had two burglaries on our street in the past year.

Where was this house Jono if you don't mind me asking? Actually probably best not to answer that... who knows who could be reading, pretty sh*tty world we live in sometimes.

I've sent the link to the missus anyway as she's a bit of a trademe fiend, will keep an eye out.
