Slingshot Broadband - Any problems?

Anybody else on here using Slingshot as their ISP. I've had problems with connections dropping etc all week, and I've just found out that one of my colleagues who lives on the North Shore has been having the same issues. He's phoned them and they claim everything's OK at their end.

Any one else had problems with their Slingshot connection over the past week or two?

Nope on Telstra Clear/Paradise. Although I have had a few issues in the past. Whatever, do NOT join Telecon !

Yea I have aswell. My modem lights stop meaning my connections down, however after a couple of minutes or a re-boot it works again. I'm in Nelson.

Missing the point here, lads. I'm not conducting a survey of the most popular ISPs. Just wanted to know if anybody else has been having these problems.

well ill tell you this my mate use to be on slingshot and use to have problems. if that helps. Im only on telecom cause i have unlimited usage and really good speeds even though most people say it sucks.

Is their any outage notices on the slingshot home page? Are you operating a wireless network? The latter I'd really like to know because it is relevent.

It's probably jsut DSL dropping out.. Get slingshot to call telecom to check and put a line analyser on.

Will be to do with the exchange more than slingshot more than likely. Stupid infrastructure.
