My Onitsuka Tigers
Positives: Very powerful statement on the fashion front.  Endless colour selections.
Negatives: Thin sole.  Not the most cumfy and if you wear them heaps - you'll need a need a new pair every couple of months.  But still, this takes little away from the very intimidating and gr8 looking Onitsuka Tiger.

Love these. I got a pair a few weeks back. Very light grey, blue stripes and bright green wedge.

People may joke about their dirty old sneakers turning into science projects or mini ecosystems, but once OAT Shoes' compostable sneakers become commercially available within the next several weeks ... let's just say, those same people may no longer be joking when they make those kind of statements. Made using hemp, cork, bio-cotton, certified biodegradable plastics, chlorine-free bleach and other nontoxic materials, the shoes are designed to completely break down when buried in the ground the first batch will even come with seeds in their tongues, so that wildflowers will sprout up in commemoration of users' planted, expired kicks.

Big fan of Adidas forums, nice shape, good design.

On low sneakers, these reebok workout with a mid strap are ones I rock

But I do like Onitsuka Tigers. Not gonna see me rocking run of the mill Nikes, too many Airmax 90's, Air Force Ones and Dunks.

Wearing these at the minute...got them in the UK for the equivalent of about $110 NZD. Pretty sure G-Star here would be a bit more, and trainers in general actually!

Would like:

No animals were harmed in the making of these shoes.

EVER WONDER WHERE OLD WORN OUT BIKE TIRES, USED RUBBER GLOVES AND PLASTIC BOTTLES GO TO DIE?

The bike tires and used rubber gloves are recycled to create the shoes outsole and plastic bottles are used in the making of their PET shoe laces.
The Jameson Eco styles have a durable heavy canvas natural cotton upper and a Dri-Lex moisture wicking anti-microbial material inside so it wont smell when you dont wear socks.

Not like we're talking about whether we like to wear Italian loafers with bright socks or classic Oxford dress shoes... or would that be better?

Don't worry I'll Manify this thread:

I think every bloke should own a pair although I've not worn mine for a few years now. How did people loosen them up?

A mate would bury his in the garden for 3 weeks. Blokes in the army would piss in their army boots so I hear. I just used to use Wrens Dubbin.

I remember them, I had one similar I think. Is that a modern remake or the original? Always had that smell inside unforgettable and after a bit the insides would get all ink stained from pens because in those days you had to use fountain pens even if you were left handed. Some I think had the strap and carry handles.

sorry - I meant to make that photo a little bigger.

Worn them once while West Ham were playing, one win.  As long as I remember to wear them every time they are playing, get your money on West Ham being Champions League winners in 2014
