Funnily the first time I went to Europe I spent some time traveling around Russia, the first night we were there we were hanging out at someones apartment and they were watching a Russian soap, I didn't understand what it was about but in a romantic scene the background music was anchor me by the mutton birds, on the last day I was there I caught the train from St Petersberg to Latvia and they were playing don't dream it's over by crowded house on the train, which I thought was kind of a funny coincidence to bookend my trip.

As far as Kiwi Anthems, I think Home Again by shihad is the quintessential Wellington anthem, seeing as it's about returning to Wellington and all. I always thought it should have been the Fever song before kick off.
