Bloody hell, how many world records have been smashed in the last 3 weeks by swimmers wearing these things??? Crazy!

Any swimmers out there who can give us the lowdown on these astronaut togs?

Developed by Speedo, supposedly for Michael Phelps, the US swimmer... heard Susie O'Neill on the radio this morning talkin about them... The suits cost $800 (US) each apparently... and Speedo is making the available to elite swimmers from third world countries also, so they aren't disadvantaged (see the french example lol).

The US National champs are comin up soon so the expectation is that the records will tumble there too...

The swimmers are saying that the suits make them feel as thought they're swimming downhill, or with a tailwind lol

There's talk they should be banned, but as Susie said - the horse has bolted, if they were going to ban them they had to be banned as soon as the suit thing started, ie: they should have been forced to wear standard togs, as they did for decades up until the 90's...

So yeah... hows Danyon Loader goin? lol

Noticed Moss Burmeister wearing one on the news last night.

Went 3 seconds under the Olympic qualifying time for the butterfly and broke the Commonwealth record.
