I told News that I was personally responsible for clearing a lot of the Kerikeri area of German invaders in the late 70's

Epic find. I remember playing "war" in an area called the industrial estate that was basically abandoned businesses and there was around 12 of us. 

I had easily the best stick gun as it looked like a British stengun.

I thought this was an NZ Army recruitment commercial. Not allowed to fired real bullets for fear of wastage.
